East End Track & Field is a youth program where you come as you are, and do your best. Our membership offers both competitive and non-competitive training programs aimed at helping you achieve your personal Track & Field goals.

Short distance training enhances sprinters' speed and power for races like 55m/100m/200m/Hurdles and Relays through drills, intervals, and technique work. Rest and recovery are crucial for injury prevention and long-term progress.

Athletes will engage in hurdle practice at the track and field facility, focusing on improving their technique and speed over the barriers.

During throwing training, athletes focus on foundational throwing skills, improving techniques, building strength, and improving skills for competitions.

Coaches will expose athletes to the rules and procedures of a competitive track meet to help athletes better prepare physically and mentally.

Training sessions focus on mid and long-distance disciplines in track & field, encompassing a diverse range of workouts tailored to improve endurance and speed for these specific events (400m/800m/1500m/1-Mile and 3000M).

Training for Cross Country running encompasses a mix of long runs, interval training, hill repeats, and tempo runs to prepare athletes for the unique challenges posed by off-road courses. Runners engage in strategic training plans crafted to improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, and mental toughness essential for performing well in Cross Country competitions.

Long Jump and Triple Jump training are essential components in an athlete's regimen, focusing on building explosive power, speed, and technique for optimal performance in these two dynamic track and field events. The training sessions include a combination of sprinting drills, plyometrics, strength training, and technical repetitions to enhance the athlete's capabilities and improve their overall results on the runway.

Leading and guiding aspiring athletes towards their peak performance levels requires dedication, expertise, and a passion for the sport. Engaging with these athletes on a daily basis, providing mentorship, and honing their skills are all vital aspects of the role.
